At the risk of sounding fatalist I declare that The Iowa Caucus will be the starting date for the restoring of America. I am sure your like me and do wish to have this primary start so Fox News can report on something else for a while. But I do not fell as if that will happen nor should it. We are in for a very rocky year for this country.
So strap on the hiking gear and let's go rock climbing.
First: As the Boy Scout creed dictates "Be Prepared"
The primaries and the debates will filter out those with baggage and the strong will survive. All of this is to the good of the Republican party. We will have a strong candidate that can beat Obama and we must if we are to restore this great country.
Second: Make the election about his failures
We cannot get into devious mud slinging , name calling or personal attacks campaigns. The Democrats are experts at this campaigning and we need to stay with our strengths. We can get the vote out if we unveil the failures that this administration has experienced in such a short period of time.

Third: Know who your friends are.
We can't be a Pollyanna (an excessively or blindly optimistic person) when it comes to Americans today. We are diverse but we are also divided. The country is greatly challenged by two very different ideologies ( the Left and the Right). If we think we can change others ideology with words we are Pollyanna's. Do not attempt to win every argument or battle with someone with a different ideology. I have seen fundamentalist accept actions in the oval office and not miss a note on accepting this Transgression . So why would your words change anything. With all that said we must get more votes out from the Americans that share our ideology.
Only time will change the views of some and we cannot do that if we don't get our candidate elected. Know your friends and get your friends to vote and help. After all we have a country at stake and that is not crying wolf.

On the eve of the Iowa caucus I would like to make a MeadowRock prediction without any scientific poll to back up my prediction. Just my personal opine.
Mitt Romney wins Iowa: After all the dust settles the caucus members know that the number one objective is to be Obama. They will vote to do so by the majority.
Ron Paul :#2 He has the support of the established caucus members and has always done well. Second place will and should silence his campaign. Hopefully he will do so with pride and not try any third party run. Pick up the marbles and join the team.
Rick Santorum:#3 Very close behind Paul and this will be the place he needs to finish in order to keep going in the primaries. I see a lot of upside in this man and hope that he continues to campaign.
At this point my dream ticket would be Romney/Santorum. Think about it!
